This one's for you mom :)

Alright, so here's the scoop. For months I've been battling these pesky little grey hairs that are rapidly making themselves at home on my head! I can't bring myself to pay salon prices to take care of the situation so instead, I decided to take matters into my own hands (with some reassurance from madre). One tube, one stained towel, and twenty-five minutes later, vualah! Not too bad for my first time :) Here are some pics for you mom, love ya!

New Ride!

Sadly we had to trade in the good ole' Grand Am after we found out it needed approximately $1900.00 worth of work to replace the transmission. After weighing out our options, we decided that now was a good time to trade her in on something a little newer and more reliable. We went and test drove cars Saturday and found the one for us! We are now proud owners of a 2007 Hyundai Sonata. Low miles and a very fast engine makes it a perfect fit (and really fun on the freeways :) Here she is...

Chula Vista Lemon Festival

Sunday, David and I headed to downtown Chula Vista to check out the 13th Annual Lemon Festival. The festival included car show, craft booths, rides, food, and of course, everything lemon...we enjoyed some fresh strawberry lemonade and lemon cookies, mmm!! After listening to a little live music, we decided to call it a day. Here are some pictures from the festival :)

A Day in Coronado!

David and I spent this past Saturday soaking up some sun on Coronado Island. We ate and shopped then headed to the beach where it was very warm, but very fun!! After our day in Coronado, we met up with one of David's fellow officer friends and went to a Padres' game...they lost, but it was still a great time! Enjoy the pics :)
