More Maternity Photos!

A couple of weekends ago, David busted out the camera to capture my ever-expanding belly! At the time of the photos, I was 28 weeks and 5 days...with about a 40 inch waist (yikes!). I think this was my favorite session yet, he really took some beautiful photos!

It's already time for another photo session so updated belly pictures will be coming soon! As of today, we are 31 weeks and 2 days pregnant which means we only have 8 weeks and 5 days left, CRAZY (but really exciting!!).

4D Ultrasound!

This past Saturday David and I did our second 3D/4D ultrasound and we were certainly not disappointed! As you can see, Madelyn is doing well...doesn't she have some of the cutest cheeks?!? She was pretty content during the appointment...even the nudges from the tech didn't disturb her. Other than at the ultrasound, she stays really active these days...seems like there's a party in my belly almost non-stop! It's crazy to think we have only 10 weeks left before she's here - I think we're both hoping it goes really fast, we're so excited to meet her and see what she looks like! Productive Weekend!

David luckily had the weekend off so we decided to make the most of it! One thing we love to do is plant flowers so we headed to Lowe's and purchased some new pots and flowers and spruced up the backyard. We had a pretty good collection of flowers started but wanted to add to it and the weather was perfect for being outside! Once the sun started to go down, we decided to hang the letters in the nursery that David has worked so hard on. He made Madelyn's name from scratch out of plywood and they turned out beyond beautiful! He did all of the hard work, I just added the bows. The letters are the perfect addition to the nursery and were definitely made with love...I see them being in her room for years to come! Nursery Is Almost Complete!

We didn't have to wait long after ordering our nursery furniture for it to arrive and once it did, David got busy assembling!! Luckily, everything went together without any major problems so that was a relief. The only thing we really have left to do is hang her name above the crib. David has been working hard perfecting each letter tediously sanding and painting them pink - the letters will certainly be my favorite part because he made them especially for Madelyn. We decided to use a bassinet instead of a pack-in-play, takes up way less space next to the bed...it's being stored in the nursery for now :)
