Nursery and Baby Bump Pic!

Everything here is progressing nicely - we're 17 weeks and 3 days today! Here is a picture to show the baby bump progress...

Not feeling any movement yet but should in the next week or so, can't wait!!

We decided on and ordered baby girl's nursery bedding, here's a picture of what it looks like!!

We are having the best time planning for this little one's arrival! We've just about completed our registeries and are eagerly waiting for the nursery bedding to arrive...just need to find some furniture now for it to go on :)

Baby Girl Gardner!

We had our first 3D ultrasound yesterday and it was amazing! The major reason for this appointment was to find out if we were having a little boy or a little girl and it turns out we're definitely having a little girl!!! The tech said she had long legs and a nice set of lips (David knows he's in trouble now!) We got to see our daughter up on a huge screen for about 20 minutes. We saw her kicking, waving, stretching, drinking and even hiccuping! It was SO incredible, we were in awe the entire time. She looks very healthy and had a nice heartbeat, we couldn't ask for more. After the appointment, we got our goodies (pictures, a frame, and a DVD of the appointment) and headed to the car to call everyone! I bet you can guess what we did next?? SHOPPING!! We headed over to Old Navy and had the best time! Below is a picture of Baby Girl Gardner's first purchases!! She's going to be one stylish little girl that's for sure :) After Old Navy we went next door to Borders and bought her two books for the nursery. David picked out a book about a caterpillar and I picked out a nursery rhyme book. It's crazy to think that in just a short amount of time we'll be reading those to her!! We grabbed some lunch at Chipotle to gear ourselves up for registry time at Babies R' Us. After a quick briefing with the Babies R Us staff, we were all set with our shopping guide and scanner. We were really impressed with how easily we made decisions and how much we were able to register for in about 3 hours. Probably the toughest item was the stroller, but that's only because we couldn't figure out how to open/close the dang things. Thank goodness there were plenty of friendly, knowledgeable staff always there to lend a helping hand. We were happy with our progress and decided to call it a day and reward ourselves with some ice cream! So we checked ourselves out, saved our registry, and headed on. I had looked forward to this day for many weeks and I have to say, it is a day I will never forget. I keep telling David how it was literally one of the best days of my life...and it's only going to get better :)

Enjoy the pics!!
Love,
